The Hospice Foundation will receive 1.5% of your personal income tax if you enter the KRS number: 0000201002 in the designated field in your tax return. The Hospice Foundation is a public benefit organization (OPP) which has been operating since 2003 and has been managing the Father E. Dudkiewicz Hospice in Gdańsk and the Respite Care Center, among its other activities. Below, you can find the information about how you can help the Hospice Foundation and why it is important to support it.
Let’s start by explaining how to donate 1.5% of your personal income tax to the Hospice Foundation in 2026. First of all, remember that if, in the previous years, you indicated a specific public benefit organization to which you wanted to allocate 1.5% of your personal income tax, when you open the prepared tax return form in Your e-PIT service, the previously entered organization will automatically appear in the designated field. Of course, it is possible both to donate the funds to a different organization every year or to simply support the same OPP every time you submit the return. Depending on whether you donate 1.5% of income tax for the first time or you intend to change the organization which you want to allocate the money to, the process slightly differs. However, in the case of the two above scenarios, the hospicefoundation1.5%personalincometax 2025 will get to the selected institution.
How to donate funds to the Hospice Foundation

Very important information: you have to submit your PIT form by April 30 for the above mentioned funds to be donated to the Hospice Foundation.
The Hospice Foundation is, above all, an organization that manages centers that help those in need, such as the Father E. Dudkiewicz Hospice in Gdańsk or the Respite Care Center. These two places are the main focus of the Foundation activities, however this organization also participates in many other projects, which is partly sponsored by the hospicefoundation1.5%personalincometax 2026.
The Father E. Dudkiewicz Hospice is a place providing palliative care, which has been operating in Gdańsk since 1983. This unit takes care of terminally ill patients in the final period of their lives. The support that the hospice provides includes alleviation of both physical and emotional pain and, at the same time, fulfillment of spiritual and social needs. The Hospice Foundation manages the Hospice and sponsors its activities by organizing charity actions and collecting funds which are crucial for constant and effective operation of the Hospice. Apart from its standard activities, the Hospice also provides perinatal care, supporting families awaiting the birth of babies diagnosed with lethal conditions.
What’s more, a so-called “Home Hospice” operates as a part of the Gdansk Hospice. It provides care for patients at their own homes, which was initiated right after the establishment of this organization. The hospice crew supports patients with regular visits, offering help also to the members of their families.
The Respite Care Center is a place that supports the caretakers looking after patients who are not independent due to their disabilities or diseases. The center provides 24h care services (for 40 people) as well as daycare services (for additional 20 people). It also assists the caretakers by organizing training, educating about providing care at home and offering psychological support. The employees of the Respite Care Center run workshops covering topics such as taking care of people suffering from dementia.
Apart from the above, the Hospice Foundation is engaged in other projects like the “Tumbo Helps” program helping children who are mourning, the Fight with Cancer Academy (Akademia Walki z Rakiem), a portal for family caretakers and a bookshop, where the Foundation sells, among others, its own publications. What’s more, it also organizes voluntary services, thanks to which you can also support (not only financially) the Foundation in achieving its noble goals.
