JohnnyBros Foundation

The Foundation was created by JohnnyBros, an IT company active since 2009 and engaged in social causes from the very start. We are practitioners of helping others, and we want to spread that attitude in the community around us. We believe helping is a two-way street: everyone wins, and the world gets a little better.

We don't see IT as a lone island of prosperity separate from the rest of society. That is why we gave our support a formal structure, and today we are one of the most active foundations in Gdańsk. In February 2025 the JohnnyBros Foundation was granted public benefit organization status (KRS 0000926634), which confirms our achievements.

Our cooperation with the Hospice Foundation is an especially important part of what we do. We share the same values and regularly run joint initiatives together, such as the Bal z Sercem charity ball. We financially supported the creation of the Respite Care Centre in Gdańsk, which opened in 2023. It is a place where caretakers of seriously ill people can leave their loved ones in professional hands and regain their strength for the care ahead of them.

• Charity work: focused mainly on the Hospice Foundation, but we also support relief campaigns run by Caritas, and we help organisations and people on other continents through subsequent editions of the JohnnyBros Foundation Christmas Campaign.
• IT industry growth: we promote good practice and share our experience.
• Innovation: we support the responsible growth of Polish entrepreneurship.

There are several principles that shape the way we work, and we have developed them over the years. The most important ones are the ability to work together, openness to new perspectives, and empathy for the needs of others. Expertise and optimism matter to us too, along with the belief that knowledge is worth sharing, because that attitude pays off for everyone.

We also want the Foundation to be a place where companies and people who introduce new technological and organisational solutions can meet and work together. We care about the IT sector in Gdańsk growing and attracting people from all over the world.
