JohnnyBros Foundation has become a public benefit organization (OPP) and in 2026, it will be possible to donate 1.5% of personal income tax for 2025 to it. In order to do that, the KRS number of the Foundation and the amount of money you wish to donate will need to be specified in your annual tax return. You can find all the necessary information below.
Our Foundation was established in 2021, on the initiative of JohnnyBros, a company which has been operating in the IT sector for 16 years. Since the beginning of our work, we have focused on consistency and teamwork, in accordance with the Japanese story-telling master Ryunosuke Satoro’s motto:
Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.
Social conscience and the willingness to help others are the values which we try to reflect in real life through our everyday actions supporting others.
The Hospice Foundation, continuing its work in Gdańsk for years, has a special place in our hearts. In the past, we have cooperated many times on different levels, which led us to our biggest common project building and opening of the Respite Care Center.
In September 2024, the facility celebrated the first anniversary of its opening. During the first 12 months of its operation, 620 people made use of their daycare and 24h care services. During their stay in the center, the patients get help in their daily activities and receive psychological and physiotherapeutic care.
Donating 6,000,000 PLN to co-fund this investment was one of the first big actions of JohnnyBros Foundation, which has shown that we want to support important social projects and take actions for the benefit of the inhabitants of not only Gdańsk, but also Pomeranian Voivodeship and Poland.
Another action which has reverberated around was our support for Ukraine that was organized a few days after the outbreak of war. We have immediately decided to donate 100,000 PLN to #TechForUkraine action organized by the Just Join IT portal. The next step was sending four fully equipped ambulances to Ukraine. It should be stressed that it was the employees of the Foundation who delivered the vehicles all the way to the border. They willingly offered to do that without any hesitation.
The flood which hit the southern part of Poland last year also met with an immediate reaction from JohnnyBros Foundation. We instantly started a collection of the most necessary items. What’s more, the power generators, dehumidifiers and industrial fans, which we had bought for over 200,000 PLN, helped to deal with the destructive effects of the flood.
“We have contacted the witnesses of the devastating power of the flood. Their reports were disturbing - people have lost everything they owned in a matter of seconds, that is why we wanted to help the flood victims to return to their flats or houses as soon as possible and begin the difficult process of rebuilding their local communities,” Julian Pawlukiewicz, the chairman of JohnnyBros Foundation, explains. He adds, “We couldn’t stay indifferent to such a tragedy. The active support of our action has proved to us that Polish people can unite in the most difficult situations".
In 2024, the 11th edition of the JohnnyBros Christmas Campaign took place and the employees of JohnnyBros could again pick individuals or charities they want to support through our Foundation. This year, the funds were divided between 43 beneficiaries and each of them received over 4,500 PLN from the “JohnnyBros Santa”. The amount of money distributed to those in need as a part of this annual action, which has been continued since 2014, has exceeded 1,000,000 PLN.
Last but not least, we can’t forget to mention an extremely important element of the cooperation between JohnnyBros Foundation and the Hospice Foundation, which is the annual “Bal z Sercem” (“Ball with a Heart”). For a few years, we have been a Diamond Sponsor of this event, during which money is collected to be later distributed according to the needs of those under the Hospice Foundation care. In 2024, nearly 350,000 PLN was donated for the renovation of the Father Eugeniusz Dutkiewicz SAC Hospice in Gdańsk!
Our Foundation is a place that brings together people sharing similar values who work together to help others. We believe that small gestures can make a big difference and we take every opportunity to promote the idea of charity. You can help us and contribute to the future charity actions of JohnnyBros Foundation by donating 1.5% of your tax to our OPP when you submit your 2025/2026 income tax return.
Donating 1.5% of your income tax to a chosen public benefit organization is very simple and totally free of charge for the taxpayer. All you have to do is to enter the KRS number of the organization you want to support into a designated section in the PIT form. The process of transferring the full amount of 1.5% of income tax is completed by the tax office - the only thing that’s on you is to specify whom you want to help.

Building and opening of the Respite Care Center wouldn't have been possible without the help of our dear friends such as JohnnyBros Foundation. Thanks to them, we are able provide the caretakers with the priceless opportunity to take a break - to have some time for themselves and to feel that they are not alone. The look of their faces, when they can finally relax, is the greatest reward to us.
