JohnnyBros Foundation’s establishment was initiated by JohnnyBros, a company which has been operating in the IT sector since 2009, in order to continue all social and charity activities which had previously been undertaken by the Funder.
The IT sector is not a lonely island of prosperity, but it is a part of society. That is why we broaden our charity activities in order to help institutions and individuals that need support.
The Hospice Foundation from Gdańsk, with which the Funder has been cooperating for years, has a special place in our plans. We will definitely continue to work together in the future. That is why the first big project of JohnnyBros Foundation is to help to build the Respite Care Centre in Gdańsk and to continue cooperation with the Hospice Foundation.
A new goal of the foundation is to take actions to raise social capital in Poland, since its increase is extremely beneficial to economy and society.
We pay a lot of attention to co-creating the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, especially in the IT sector in which we work every day. We take different actions which aim at strengthening mutual trust, contributing to the creation of the information society as well as sharing knowledge and exchanging views.
It is social capital which makes innovation, and, as a result, the achievement of another level of quality of our economy possible. We believe in that and we want to show that positive changes in our society can be made.
The goal of our work is to create a culture of sharing knowledge in Polish IT sector, improving its work and organisational culture. The foundation is also a space for meetings and a dialogue between companies and individuals that want to introduce innovative technological and organisational solutions in the IT sector in order to strengthen its competitiveness and ensure its constant development.
Competence acquisition and the integration of foreign employees are our next aims, which will help the IT sector in Gdańsk, our home and workplace, to develop.
Incoming human resources and effective competition for the best employees on the global recruitment market are a guarantee of IT sector success in our country. We strongly believe that only open and friendly corporate culture and high quality process organisation allow finding and hiring valuable employees. We want our actions to contribute to the creation of new jobs and attraction of specialists from all over the world to Poland.

They work together to create web applications, starting from design, through programming to ensuring great positioning. JohnnyBros employees also engage in, for instance, fundraising for the Hospice Foundation and other charity events, as well as help the local sports club to develop. The passion for technology is their common interest, thanks to which they can complete IT projects that they are proud of.
Effective and engaging work environment is something that the company keeps developing and wants to improve. The company culture is based on innovations, which ensure its gradual development and financial success. JohnnyBros, a Forbes Diamonds laureate in a few editions of the ranking, is an example of a company which successfully implements corporate social responsibility into its operations. A natural consequence of that is its involvement in charity work. As a part of it, for many years, the company has been providing help to, among others, the Hospice Foundation and the Father Eugeniusz Dutkiewicz SAC Hospice in Gdańsk, which was appreciated by the municipal authorities who, in 2019, awarded JohnnyBros CEO, Julian Pawlukiewicz, with Gdańsk Donor of the Year title.
To be able to promote important values, build social capital and provide help to those in need more effectively, the company management has decided to use their considerable experience in practice and establish JohnnyBros Foundation to broaden the scope of their charity activities.
The first big project of JohnnyBros Foundation is providing help to build the Respite Care Centre in Gdańsk as a part of our cooperation with the Hospice Foundation.
