Another (already the 12th) edition of JohnnyBros Foundation Christmas Charity action has been completed! It marks a milestone in our initiative’s history as this year we broke the record and supported 61 organisations and individuals with 222 000 PLN!
December always brings a special atmosphere. It's a time of reflection, empathy and openness to others. Just like hay under the tablecloth or twelve dishes on the Christmas Eve table, helping others has become JohnnyBros employees’ tradition. Since 2014, around Christmas time, they can pick an organisation or a person they would like to support. This year, as many as 61 employees decided to submit their propositions and thanks to that financial support was delivered to all listed organizations and people before Christmas Eve, which was a form of valuable and often unexpected Christmas gift.
“This year, the employees showed great empathy again and immediately joined the action. The beneficiaries include both individuals and foundations that we have been supporting continuously for years, which proves our deep sensitivity to other people’s needs.” Julian Pawlukiewicz, the chairman of the JohnnyBros Foundation, emphasizes.
Collected funds were donated to the foundations’ beneficiaries, medical and care facilities, institutions helping homeless people and private individuals facing difficult life circumstances. We didn’t forget about animals either! Our support went to animal shelters and institutions taking care of animals.
What’s more, JohnnyBros Christmas Charity crossed the borders of our country again - the support was delivered to the institution organizing collection of funds for those in need in Gaza, to a foundation providing help in Ukraine as well as to animal welfare organisations in Brazil and France.
“Our action is constantly growing, which is reflected by the numbers and stats. This year, we supported 18 more organisations and individuals in comparison to 2024 and we increased the total amount of donated funds. In general, during 12 editions of the action, we have donated 1.2M PLN”, Michał Kozłowski, the spokesman of the JohnnyBros Foundation adds.
